Brave New World
I have been meaning to post this for awhile now. The advances being made every month in the fight against breast cancer are amazing. Blood markers, gene mutations and genetic testing are all on the front edge of major discoveries.
This study has found ways to predict who will get lung mets!
I am in awe, and grateful, to the people who are dedicating their lives to this research.

Okay, I have to figure out how to get tested. I have to!!! My scans showed "miniscule" nodules on my lung, opposite side of the breast cancer, which are "probably" leftovers from an old infection. I have to have them scanned next month (mid-September...happy birthday to me) but I would really like to know one way or the other how worried to be... Ain't science grand?! Thank you for sharing.

"...in awe, and grateful..." covers it nicely. (I just signed up for another study. Nice to know it's possible to help just a little.)
